Today at Greenburgh Academy, housed at Roberto Clemente Campus, we celebrate Roberto Clemente Day! Roberto Clemente was a true global hero. He lost his life nearly 50 years ago in a tragic plane crash. He was on his way to volunteer in assisting his native Puerto Rico after it had been hit by a devastating earthquake. Roberto Clemente was a true Global Hero. We should all try our best to be like him. The world would be a much better place.
