Students drove into an exciting hands-on learning experience with a heart dissection lab! This lesson allowed them to examine both the internal and external parts of the heart, giving them a deeper understanding of its intricate structure and vital function in the circulatory system.
Here are some highlights from the I-Ready celebration! A big thank you to Mrs. Grillo for making this special event possible. The students truly appreciated the praise and recognition, and they absolutely loved the ice cream-so delicious!
What an amazing day at West Point with our Participation in Government class! Our students had the incredible opportunity to explore the values of service, commitment, and active citizenship firsthand. The unforgettable experience truly brought the lessons of leadership and patriotism to life. Thank you Mr. Brennan and everyone who made this trip possible!

The Krispy Kreme fundraiser to benefit PBIS has officially started! Students and staff can place their orders from November 4th until November 25th, with donut distribution scheduled for the week of December 9th. Students had a fantastic time participating in the school’s Trunk-or-Treat event! The festive atmosphere was filled with creative costumes, decorated trunks, and of course, plenty of candy for everyone. It was a fun-filled day that brought our school community together.
Our school celebrated the 2024 Volleyball Tournament yesterday, a fantastic event brought to life by our PE department! Six teams went head-to-head in thrilling matches, with the blue team ultimately taking home the victory. It was a day of fun, teamwork, and school spirit that both students and staff enjoyed immensely—what a success!

Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by Creating Their Own Stickers.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, students embraced their creativity by designing and crafting their own unique stickers. These personalized creations showcased the rich diversity of Hispanic culture, featuring vibrant colors. The sticker project provided an engaging way for students to express their appreciation for the contributions of Hispanic Americans, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation within the school community.
I am excited to take a moment to celebrate the success of our students in the SUNY Westchester Community College Construction Program! They have worked incredibly hard, showing both skill and dedication throughout the course, and their achievements are truly worth recognizing.
