We are so excited to be a part of the official Ribbon Cutting for our community partners, The Sharing Shelf - Teen Boutique this morning!
The Sharing Shelf- Teen Boutique offers the opportunity for our teens to engage in a shopping experience and take home a great wardrobes. Greenburgh Academy has taken 4 groups of students to the Teen Boutique thus far.
Students lined our halls with appreciation notes for the Greenburgh Academy team! Our students ROCK!

Voter Registration Event--We are grateful for the League of Woman Voters and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. for coordinating this opportunity for the students of Greenburgh Academy.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day, Ms. Alyssa Fantauzzi. We love and appreciate all that you do for our staff, families, and students of Greenburgh Academy!
Today Ms.Phillips and Mrs. Mead were able to collaborate on a lesson integrating PE and Art. Students talked about Abstract Art and then used their gross motor skills to scoot across the paper to create a design with markers. Next students and staff had the opportunity to add paint in order to enhance their design.
Art and physical education are usually thought of as different domains, but integrating them can be very beneficial to our students. For students reluctant to learn about art, using physical activity will make them more open to the project and for students who prefer not to participate in gym class, the artistic components of the lessons will keep them engaged and active.
Thank you to everyone who participated and assisted with this fun Friday activity. I hope everyone enjoys the photos!
