Tuesday 3/7/22, our Boys' Varsity Basketball begin their state championship journey. They face off against South Kortright-Andes in semi-final game. They are traveling all the way to Binghamton for the showdown on Johnson City HS campus.

Greenburgh Academy students are being featured at a local art show!
The Katonah Museum of Art has just opened its Young Artists 2022 show!
This show is a great way to expose our young community artists to the public at large. Featured this year is the artwork of Greenburgh Academy students Stephanie Mena and Emily Lopez.
The show is free, though it is important to register online to ensure there is space for visitors. The show will be running until February 27th.

This past Friday students in Ms. Miles Living Environment class explored Wonka style! They created models of a double helix DNA strand using candy!
Our "Deck the Door" contest was a hit. Ms. Payton organized the event and we had so much fun with students working toward a common goal!

An end of an era! Our beloved chickens, who we raised from the moment they hatched, have been transported to Mr. Johnson's property. Goodbye for now, but not forever.

Our local Police Department loves us! Thank you Ms. Peterkin and students, and all of our residents and community members for supporting law enforcement and the #YonkersPD! Many thanks to Samantha Peterkin and the students of the Greenburgh Academy for their very thoughtful wreath donations to the 4th Precinct today. Ms. Peterkin and the Academy have been very generous friends of the 4th Precinct for several years now, in her own words: "I started this tradition of gifting your precinct with a wreath, as a homage to my late father, who himself was a police officer. It is my ongoing goal to demonstrate this kind gesture because I recognize the need for good relationships in at times a very polarizing world..."
