Greenburgh Academy

As part of an assignment, students were asked to write to a representative about an issue they care about. Student (Amir Smith) with the guidance of Ms. Shubrick wrote a letter to New York State Governor Kathy Hochul advocating for increased autism awareness. Through this assignment, the student was able to express their concerns and take an active role in civic engagement. Here is Amir Smith with his social studies teacher, Mr. Brennan.
