This past week, students at Clark Academy participated in the very first Mentor Program meeting of the year! Older students with some experience and wisdom volunteered to mentor one of our younger students as they began this school year. This program will offer some of our quiet and more reserved students a responsible buddy to who they can ask questions to, ask for advice, or simply ask for some company during some quiet time during the day.
The first meeting involved fun icebreaker activities, a few snacks, and some time just to talk with each other and establish relationships. Students and staff alike are looking forward to the next meeting, but until then, please check out some of the pictures below of this touching meeting.
